Camp Chartwell is a 3-day camp for children aged 5-9, founded upon a deep conviction that nurturing an interest and appreciation for the arts from a young age is exceptionally important in our society today. Initiated by School of the Arts (SOTA) graduates, the camp will impart knowledge and skills in the four major art forms of Dance, Music, Theatre and Visual Arts to children of all backgrounds. Camp Chartwell also aims to allow these children to grow in confidence, as well as provide them an avenue for healthy and creative expression.

Camp Chartwell is currently in its sixth year running. Activities from previous camps include basic dance lessons, the creation of a “Stomp”-style band, acrylic painting, improvisational games, tie-dye workshops and making kaleidoscopes!

The various forms of art converge and culminate into the end-of-camp showcase, where participants exhibit their works and perform for an audience.
